World Environment Day-2023
On the occasion of World Environment Day , celebrated annually on the 5th of June, our esteemed institution, Shree Narayana Guru Vidyalaya, Primary Section (E.M.), sought to instill in our young learners a deep understanding of the environment and motivate them to take immediate action for its preservation. This day held great significance for our students, not only as a celebration of the environment, but also as the commencement of the 2023-24 academic session, marking the beginning of their educational journey.
Our dedicated teachers warmly welcomed the students to their new classes and subjects, ensuring a smooth transition. Following the formal introductions, it was only fitting to delve into the topic of environmental awareness. The students were enlightened about the paramount importance of the environment, engaging in thoughtful discussions on pressing environmental issues and exploring effective ways to address them.
To start their day on a spiritually uplifting note, the students of classes III and VI embarked on a visit to the temple, seeking the blessings of the revered Guru. Thereafter, they embarked on a captivating exploration of our school's lush garden, endeavoring to identify the myriad of plants and trees that thrive within its confines. Guided by their devoted teachers, the students gained insight into the profound significance of trees and their pivotal role in preserving our fragile ecosystem.
United by a shared commitment to safeguarding the environment, our students solemnly pledged to contribute to a brighter future for all. With a firm resolve, they vowed to foster environmental well-being by actively participating in tree-planting initiatives and diligently working towards the reduction of pollution. It is through such collective efforts that we strive to ensure a prosperous and sustainable world for generations to come.
