World Music Day is celebrated on June 21, every year to cherish the spirit of music, the vibrancy of vocals and the melody of instruments. The day is celebrated with an aim to promote and encourage young musicians to play their favourite instruments and enjoy the virtue of music. Students and teachers of class VIII opted to celebrate the day on 17.06.23 during class assembly.
Young and budding musicians and vocalist of class 8th paid their honour to great singers and musicians, they also showcased their talent by playing different instruments, rendering prayer and singing songs. They introduced about the importance of music day and talked about the healing power of music. They also gave information about various singers, their work and achievements.
The event was coordinated by the enthusiastic music educator of SNGV Mrs. Margie Mehta, wherein, she also shared her experience about music and her journey as a music teacher.
By celebrating World Music Day, children could recognize the important role music plays in our lives and the positive impact that it can have on society.
